Central Carolina Hosiery

This third-generation, family-owned factory was founded in 1907 in Russia by Yuri Babayan. In 1988, the company was given to his grandson, Serge Babayan who's now the President and CEO. While in Russia, Serge ran a successful hosiery manufacturing business, but decided to move the factory to the U.S. in 1997 with only 12 employees and 8 knitting machines. Now with over 200 employees and 150 electronic pattern knitting machines, they're able to knit, sew, dye board, label, package, and ship products in-house to ensure absolute control over product quality. Their ability to make quick pattern changes allows us to respond more rapidly to changes in the marketplace, giving us faster lead times and more responsive service than overseas hosiery producers.
